Summer of 1 Million Fans Promises to be One to Remember

Boulders Baseball is back starting tonight as the team embarks on their seventh campaign at Palisades Credit Union Park.  Rockland will host the Sussex County Miners at 7PM as Richard Salazar toes the mound after being selected as the Sprint Opening Day Social Media Starting Pitcher.  In addition, tonight will be the historic first telecast on ELEVEN Sports, which is currently being made available to 60 million homes in the United States and Taiwan.

The 2017 season promises to be something special especially since the Boulders will celebrate the arrival of their one-millionth fan to Palisades Credit Union Park some time during the week of July 10th, when the Boulders will host the Quebec Capitales, as well as the New Jersey Jackals.  Plans are in the works to make this celebration one for the record books.

“It’s hard to imagine as time flies, but it’s true that we will welcome our one-millionth fan through the gates of Palisades Credit Union Park this summer,” said Ken Lehner, President.  “We are proud of the fact that millions of memories have been created at the ballpark since it opened in 2011 and thus we are embarking on the ‘Summer of One Million Fans’ campaign.”

In addition to the start of the million fans campaign, Opening Night will feature an Opening Day magnetic schedule giveaway to the first 1800 fans, as well as some great new features in the ballpark, including the BoulderBirdie 9 hole mini golf course, post-game fireworks, and the ceremonial first pitch, being thrown out by WHUD 100.7 FM’s morning man, Mike Bennett.

The Boulders will begin their seventh season with a #BouldOpening on tonight when they host the Sussex County Miners at 7:00pm at Palisades Credit Union Park. Season Ticket Memberships and numerous other ticket packages are currently on-sale and can be purchased by visiting the box office or calling (845) 364-0009.  For more information, slide to
