In celebration of the holiday season, members of the Rockland Boulders staff and players are visiting organizations to spread some cheer.

Visits include trips to ARC of Rockland, Northern Manor Nursing Home, Friedwald Center, and Centro de Amigos. Among those representing the Boulders' contingent are ace starter and pitching coach Richard Salazar, "Voice of the Boulders" Seth Cantor, and of course, BoulderBird.

"The community has always been an important part of who we are," noted Boulders' Executive Vice President Shawn Riley, also among those in attendance. "This is just a way we can share with that community - the way peoples' faces light up when BoulderBird enters a room is a very special experience."

Though snow and frigid temperatures have already crossed the region, the visits also serve as a reminder that warmer weather and Boulders baseball remains just around the corner.

Have a safe, happy and healthy Holiday season, and we wish one and all a Happy New Year!
