Graphic Design Freelancer

HOURS REQUIRED: 30 - 40 hours per week, Weekend events  
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and maintain a broad range of media including advertising, collateral, signage, direct mail, etc.
Generate new and creative ideas to attract/promote the Rockland Boulders target market.
Work with other departments on all promotional materials.
Responsible for set-up and teardown of promotions, in-game activities, distribution promotional items and general Boulders information while interacting with fans at all Rockland Boulders home games.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Knowledge and capability to use a wide variety of graphics programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
Must be organized and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Work effectively under pressure.
Strong organizational, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Team-oriented.
Must be able to work select weekend events.


 

Corporate Sales 

Rockland Boulders Professional Baseball team has immediate openings in our sales department.  If you are someone who thrives in a competitive and fast paced environment, have a proven sales record and love SPORTS, this is the right opportunity to join the Rockland Boulders team.  Individuals should be dynamic and passionate.  
The Boulders are looking for seasoned sales professionals to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients.  The ideal candidate will be someone who can develop new client relationships through cold calling, networking, and referrals from existing clients, have an innovative approach to client development and be a team player.  This person will continually contact, develop and pursue direct advertising accounts and develop small business clients.
Responsibilities include soliciting new business through prospecting and cold calling, managing and growing existing assigned accounts/budgets, identifying clients’ advertising needs and developing and presenting customized solutions to meet those needs.  These individuals are also held accountable for achieving sales budgets and collecting on the accounts.

Responsibilities include:
·         Contact prospective customers to sell in-ballpark exposure, hospitality, print, promotions, radio, tickets, etc.
·         Maintain account lists and soliciting new business.
·         Develop proposals utilizing MS office products.
·         Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising proposals.
·         Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality service.
·         Investigate and resolve customer problems.
·         Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in fulfilling contracts and arranging promotional events.
·         Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts.
·         Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and client remotes.
Required Skills/Experience
 
 
Applicants must possess exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills. They must be self-motivated, goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Inside Sales
Temporary
 
Job Summary: Entry level sales position focused on selling full season plans, partial season plans, and group tickets to individuals and corporations in the Rockland, Westchester, and Bergen Counties. This 9 month position has a possibility to become full-time for those individuals who reach and/or exceed their sales goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
       Make a minimum of 70 calls from provided lists to sell full, flex, mini plan and groups
       Turn in call logs at the end of the day
       Develop new leads  and actively prospect daily
       Schedule appointments, give ball park tours, show seats and make the sale
       Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and 9 months goals.
       Handle inbound sales calls, and turn into sales and all other duties as assigned by Inside Sales Manger
 
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Attitude and aptitude for learning sales techniques

 
Dance Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Instruct, choreograph, and manage the Rockland Roll Dance Team .

Qualifications:
Must have prior dance instruction experience.

Responsibilities:

Recruit talented dancers for the 2012 Rockland Roll dance team

Manage and arrange practice schedule

Choreograph dances for dance team based on theme nights and overall family-fun environment.  

Design, order and manage dance team costumes and props

Attend all home games starting in May and continuing into September
